DNxHD works in and displays in video level. Jules, I would say it's likely your Spyder "calibration" is doing more harm than good.Īlso I'm assuming you're using DNxHD codec? If you are, if it looks right on your computer screen in avid/PrP then it's actually wrong. Resolve still plays this as data level 0-1023 but Premiere and other media players when playing the exported footage scaled this to legal limits of 64-960. When exporting from Resolve the "set video or data level" was set to auto.
